Giving Back is all about those many dedicated people who live or work in our valley that have found a way to help others. Some of them may have a nonprofit they started or manage, and some may just be dedicated volunteers trying to make our world a better place. Each show will highlight a few of these neighbors who are giving back to the community we serve. We will also have news of a more general nature, and a few tips too if you happen to need to raise money for your own special cause, or wish to become a volunteer.
Giving Back is hosted by Jay Fiske. Jay has been a benefit auctioneer and auction consultant for over 30 years and has worked with local and national nonprofit organizations nationally and internationally. He was the co-host of the weekly show, “Tee it Up, Golf is Good Business” which aired for many years on KTTH 770 AM and other regional northwest stations. He is the author of the “Big Book of Benefit Auctions,” Wiley and Sons Publishing.
